2017 Arts & Crafts Fair
October 19th-21st, 2017
The Rodeo of the Ozarks at Parson’s Stadium is excited to announce the 2nd annual Rodeo of the Ozark’s Arts & Crafts Fair! The event will be held at Parson’s Stadium at 1423 E Emma Ave in Springdale. Parson’s stadium will be utilizing both indoor and outdoor booth space.
Show Hours: October 19th,20th, and 21st from 8:30AM to 5:30PM
Deadline: Spots will be reserved on a first come first serve basis, and will only be reserved once we have received the signed application and deposit. Applications must be submitted by September 16th. Payment for exhibition fees must be made in full no later than September 30th, 2017.
Display: Exhibitors may display and sell only that craft category or art medium for which they are approved and may not transfer the exhibit space without prior consent from the Executive Director of the Show. Display props such as pegboard, racks, backdrops, shelves, etc. are to be provided by the exhibitor. Table coverings are recommended.
Fees: Fees are based on location of booth and any special provisions.
Interior Spaces: 10’x10’ Space-$150 10’x15’ Space- $225
Exterior Spaces: 10’x10’ Space- $120 10’x15’ Space- $180 10’x20’ Space- $210
Note: This year we will provide a tent outside for our outside vendors. In order to provide overnight security for outside vendors, we must have a minimum of 10 vendors reserve exterior booth space by the application deadline. In the event that less than 10 vendors reserve booth space outside, we will provide a secured storage area for you to place your product every evening.
Table Rental: $10 per table (please reserve at least 1 week prior to event)
Electricity: $20 per outlet (20 amps)
Note: Electricity is limited, and will be assigned on a first come first serve basis as applications and deposits are returned. Please be specific in the amount of electricity you require and what the use will be for. Outdoor booths are extremely limited on available electricity, please reserve your spot as soon as possible.
Application Fee: $50 Deposit that will be applied toward payment of your booth. The deposit is nonrefundable.
Sales Tax: Exhibitors must pay state and local tax. If you have an AR Sales Tax Permit, you are not required to submit payment to the office. You are still required to submit a completed form. If you do not hold an AR sales tax permit, you agree to submit an AR tax form and payment to the Rodeo Office before leaving the grounds on the final day of the event.
Photos: This is not a juried show. We do however, request that you submit two photos of your work, and one photo of a previous booth display (if applicable) with your application. Photographs will not be returned. Digital photos are preferred and can be submitted by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Photos may be used for event advertising, on our website, and on social media.
Setup: Exhibitors must check in, receive booth assignments, receive sales tax information, and set up between office hours (8:30AM-4:30PM) on October 12th. The community hall and office will be locked at the close of business that day and will not open until 7:30AM the following day. Exhibitors with outdoor booths may choose to set up the morning of the show as security will not be provided the night of October 12th. There will be security provided nightly for the remainder of the event if minimum vendor reservation is met (please see note above). The community building will be locked every day at 5:30PM.
Exhibitors are required to stay all three days of the fair from 8:30AM-5:30PM. All booths must be set up and all vehicles in the parking area by 8:30AM each day.
The Rodeo of the Ozarks reserves the right to remove any artist or craftsman for misconduct or violation of the general rules and guidelines.
Please keep a copy of this information sheet for your records. The Rodeo of the Ozarks provides free admission to the event. If an exhibitor fails to return applicable fees to the Rodeo Office by the deadline, the exhibitor’s space may be forfeited and another exhibitor may be selected at the discretion of the Rodeo of the Ozarks.
