2018 Schedule of Events

April 21st-22nd Renaissance Faire of the Ozarks

Get ready to step back in time as the Renaissance Faire of the Ozarks comes to Parsons Stadium. Come taste the Food, Watch the shows and shop. This is a family event that everyone is sure to love! Gates open at 10am.

April 25th-27th Stick Horse Rodeo

  The Springdale Benevolent Foundation works with the Springdale Public Schools and the youth of Springdale. Each year over 2,000 first graders from throughout the district study the economic impact of the Rodeo on Springdale. This unit in economics finalizes with a “Stick Horse” rodeo each spring. The first graders come to the rodeo grounds and experience hands-on activities in connection with livestock, horses, and rodeo events. Various activities are scheduled throughout the day that encourage western heritage and the love of the cowboy way.   

May 5th- Spring Demolition Derby

7:30 pm – SAMS Furniture brings us a heated competition as drivers face off until the last car is standing! Join us for a fun family night where drivers will compete for cash prizes and bragging rights. Tickets are $7.00 for children ages 2-12 and $12.00 for adults. BUY EARLY AND SAVE! Purchase your tickets before the day of show and receive a $2.00 discount!

May 23rd-27th Spring Carnival

Pride Amusements brings a carnival that is fun for all ages! There is no entrance fee, tickets and armbands will be available for purchase from ticket booths during carnival hours information. For more information, please visit the carnival event page.

June 9th WingFest

Area restaurants go head to head, battling for bragging rights and the title of Best Wings. Sample every restaurant and you decide who wins. Not only are the restaurants competing, but you can show off your wing eating skills in the wing eat-offs.

June 23rd Street Dance

Starting at 8pm, join us downtown on Emma Ave for our annual Street Dance. Kick up your boots and dance to your hearts content!

June 23rd BBQ Western Days

Join us for Western Days! From 5-7pm at Parsons Stadium. You can sample some of the best BBQ in our area! Tickets are $10.00 and will be sold at the gate.

June 27th Rodeo Parade

Join us to observe a patriotic display of cowgirls, floats, bands, entertainment and candy for the kiddos at our Rodeo kick off parade. Beginning at 3:00 pm at the rodeo grounds and proceeding west through downtown Springdale. Please see the parade page for more information.

June 27th-30th Rodeo of the Ozarks

June 20th: Rodeo Slack Performance beginning at 5:00 pm. Join us for a sneak peak of the next 4 nights of fun at Rodeo of the Ozarks! Contestants will enter in timed events only. With some 500 competitors, it is challenging to find a slot during the rodeo. No admission charge!

June 21st – 24th: With 73 years of proud tradition, you won’t want to miss the opportunity to see some of the roughest and toughest cowboys and cowgirls from all around in one of the Top 5 Largest Outdoor Rodeos in the U.S! Gates open at 6:00 pm. Mutton Bustin’ begins at 6:30. Rodeo begins at 7:30 pm. Please visit the Rodeo of the Ozarks Event Page for more information.

June 21st-24th: A rodeo queen is more than just a smiling girl with curls, a cowgirl hat, and a blingy belt buckle; it is a young lady who is able to convey the true spirit of rodeo to everyone she is around! Competitors will participate in four days of interviews, speeches, modeling and much more to vie for the title of being the next Miss Rodeo of the Ozarks. Horsemanship and modeling are open to the public; times will be posted. July 21st – Buckin’ In the Ozarks

Buckin’ In The Ozarks showcases some of the most promising rising stars of bullriding, riding alongside rookies and veterans, as all the competitors face-off against the most famous animal athletes in the business. Please visit the Buckin’ In the Ozarks event page for more information.

September 14th-15th Foothills of the Ozarks Swap Meet
